Suicide is becoming an urgent public health issue in India, which accounts for almost 25% of the total male suicides and 37 % of the total female suicides worldwide. In recent times, there have been many reports of suicide or attempted suicide involving working professionals, students, homemakers and working adults in financial or relationship difficulties.
Suicide prevention and support requires Mental Health or Medical Professionals dealing with clients/patients; or, HR and Management professionals dealing with teams, to work with emergency care, families and peers of the individual to provide adequate support and care.
This 2-day training program equips helping professionals with skills and knowledge to help their clients, employees, patients etc. to navigate through suicidal crisis situations and helps them look at suicide from a bio-psycho-social lens.
This program will be conducted online on InfinumGrowth and facilitated by Devika Khanna, Mental Health Professional and Trainer, on 13th and 14th December 2024.
The program will  use a combination of concept sessions, role plays, case discussions and reflective exercises to build a deeper understanding.
