About the ProgramÂ
Suicide is an urgent public health issue in India. India accounts for almost 25% of the total male suicides and 37 % of the total female suicides worldwide. Suicide prevention and support requires Mental Health Professionals to work with emergency care, families and peers of the client to provide adequate support and care.
This 2 day training program equips helping professionals with skills and knowledge to help their clients, patients etc. to navigate through suicidal crisis and helps them look at suicide from a bio-psycho-social lens.
This program is hosted offline by Prabhava Institute of Mental Health and facilitated by Devika Khanna, Mental Health Professional on 17th and 18th May 2024
They will  use a combination of concept sessions, role plays, case discussions and reflective exercises to build a deeper understanding.

The FacilitatorÂ
Devika Khanna is a trained mental health professional and a trainer. She completed her post graduation from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.She conducts workshops and training programs for schools, colleges and corporates on topics like suicide prevention, resilience and mental health.
