Dr. C. Suriyaprakash, or Suriya, is an integrative coach, and a transactional analysis trainer and supervisor.
With over thirty years of experience as professor of Organisational Behaviour, Suriya is a versatile professional in various fields of people development.
He's passionately engaged in teaching, research, counselling, corporate coaching, training, facilitation, and consultancy. His credentials include international accreditation as a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) in Organisations, Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Professional Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation.
Suriya has held significant roles in the South Asian Association of Transactional Analysts (SAATA) and the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA), including a term as President of ITAA from 2015 to 2017. He is founder trustee of SAATA and Child First Society, and member of the advisory board of The Yellow Train School.
Recognition has followed Suriya's contributions to the TA world. In 2013, he was honoured with the Muriel James Living Principles Award by ITAA. In 2022, he received the SAATA Service Award for his outstanding commitment to the association's growth.
Away from academia, Suriya co-founded the Relations Institute of Development, offering Organisational Development Training and Coaching services. Since 2008, he has been instrumental in providing advanced training on 'Developmental Transactional Analysis for Organisations' – the first in India, preparing individuals for international certification.
